WOOO HOOO!!

Somehow I finished with one of my best times ever. Thanks, Greg and Rowan, for making the end of my 20's so awesome, both today and the last 4 years.

Highlights from the run:

Someone at the start line was celebrating their 40th birthday, as announced by her awesome hubby, so everyone sang Happy Birthday to her (and me, secretly).

At the beginning leg of the race I read the back of a guy's shirt-- "I'm old, I'm fat, I'm 52, and I'm in front of you," ....as I passed him.

I read a lady's shirt that said, "My mascara runs faster than that," ....as I passed her.

A girl had made a shirt that said, "We dream in color but we run in white," which I read as she sprinted past me, never to be seen again.

And personally, I kept pace with a group of girls wearing various colored tutus with bright suspenders over their running clothes. And then towards the end, this adorable little...boy? girl?.....this child with wavy shoulder length blond hair was running with his dad, and I ran to the finish line behind them, where my own adorable little boy was cheering me on with his daddy.

Awesome end to my 20's! Bring on the delicious 3-0's.
